I have been an eLearning Developer for 20+ years. My skill set includes Articulate Storyline 360, Camtasia, and artificial intelligence tools Gemini, Vyond, and Synthesia. I am also well versed in eLearning concepts such as ADDIE, Bloom’s Taxonomy, and SCORM.
As a former Professor of Business Communications and Composition/Argument, I have experienced first-hand how creativity and problem-solving can enhance learning. Therefore, I particularly enjoy building scenario-based designs to create real characters and situations which capture the attention of my audience.
Such designs go beyond the simple delivery of information and empower learners to ask questions and reflect on what they’ve learned.
I hold two master’s degrees:
Columbia University: Organizational Psychology (specialization in Instructional Design)
The George Washington University: English. While pursuing my degree, I worked as a writing consultant in the graduate school of engineering where I created department policy by designing the dissertation and thesis writing guidelines for all graduate students.
